This is the personal photo album of filmmaker & photographer, Nik Stamps. It is from the last few years of the 1990's ending with photos of the new Millennium into 2001 when things changed in the brave new world. It features the incredible group of friends of that Nik was blessed to have encountered. In those difficult coming of age years, Nik Stamps encountered three families tied together through neighborhood communities of merely living on the same city street.
Nik was the new kid on Lawnton Street in Philadelphia. He was terrified, as he was an only child of a single mother that recently cut all connections with family members. Yes this sounds over dramatic and long winded. The sentiment trying to be expressed is that this book represents more than words can explain. This is a love letter to the childhood time that we all experience. A photo speaks a thousand words but now that times have changed in technology, having a book filled with 35mm photos of moments frozen on pages of the adventures during the 'Summer of 1998'. This video is the end credits for comedy, variety show that Nik created. It features the video footage from the same period as this photo album.
You can watch the "Lawnton Street Variety Show" through the links below! It is a series of comedies, music video & silly 90's teen nostalgia! Thanks for watching and hope you watch the complete film...
